Bara and Chota Imambara

Bara Imambara has a beautiful structure that lets you walk down the memory lanes. Visit here and enjoy sights of the Mughal ruins standing here since 1784. The central hall of Bara Imambara is around 50 meters long which is the largest arched hall on the planet. Chhota Imambara is around 1.5 kilometers west of Bara Imambara. This attraction in the city center is an old resident here. The antique Awadhi architecture of Rumi Darwaza takes you deep down the memory lanes. Constructed from 1784-1786 during the rule of Asaf-ud-Duala, Rumi Darwaza is around 60 feet high. It has beautifully carved its arches and is adorned with amazing flower buds.
