Amarnath Tour Packages

Amarnath remains one of the most popular pilgrimages in India. It is the abode of Lord Shiva, one of the most worshipped Hindu deities. The cave is located at a height of 3,888 m (12,756 ft) which makes it extremely difficult to access. This is the holiest shrine of Hindus where millions of pilgrims visit every year. For most of the months, this cave remains blanketed with snow. Only in summer months, the snow melts and devotees can come here to worship Lord Shiva. Here an enshrined image of 40 m (130 ft) high ice called the Shivaling is worshiped. This Shivaling waxes during May to August when snow melts in the Himalayas.
